Being Blind Isn’t What It Used To Be

Yeah yeah yeah, John McCain is suddenly a populist who invented the slogan of change and Sarah Palin believes God’s Will acts as foreign policy, but in South Korea the livelihood of the blind is being seriously threatened.

Since 1963 the law has been that only blind people can be masseurs but now the South Korean health ministry decided to grant licenses to sighted masseurs and masseuses to practice certain kinds of massages. In protest, 26 blind masseurs threatened to jump from a bridge in protest. They were arrested.  I’m guessing basket weaving has been taken by the “mentally challenged” and all the pianos are in tune.

I wonder what would happen if John McCain and Sarah Palin were stuck with blindness. She’d probably pull a now classic vice presidential move: next time she picks up that gun she’d shoot McCain-(because he’s blind he wandered into Alaska by accident thinking it was the fridge at one of his seven houses). So Palin would shoot McCain, and the kick of the gun would force her to fall out of that helicopter she was using to hunt him down. So once again McCain and Palin are out of the White House and Nancy Pelosi is President: Woo hoo, vote McCain / Palin and bring on the hysterical blindness!!!
